Nikolai Astrup exhibition: 10.June-11.September, 2016.
Nikolai Astrup is one of the most renowned Norwegian artists. His work transforms the rugged Norwegian landscape into a mythical, living entity. This is the first international exhibition of his paintings and prints. celebrated through a large exhibition that travels to England, Germany and Oslo. The exhibition Painting Norway: Nikolai Astrup (1880-1928) opens at Dulwich Picture Gallery in London on 4 February 2016 and marks the international launch of Nikolai Astrup. The exhibition’s next destintion is Germany (Kunsthalle Emden). It will arrive to Henie Onstad Kunstsenter in June 10th. After September 11th the exhibition will return to KODE Art Museum of Bergen where it originally belongs.
