Richard III, Shakespeare’s intense drama, is about the road to power. If you are standing in the way of Richard III, you are very likely to be deceived or even killed. He is climbing up to the top of the hierarchy by seducing and charming those around him, very much like how Frank Underwood climbs up towards presidential candidacy in the television series House of Cards.
