Nikolai Astrup: Painting Norway exhibition

Nikolai Astrup’s Painting Norway exhibition, which started on the second week of June (150 paintings), is a signature event at Henie Onstad Kunstsenter. Nikolai Astrup (1880–1928), one of the most renowned Norwegian artists of all time, transformed the rocky Norwegian landscape into a mystical fairy tale. This show is the first international exhibition of Nikolai Astrup’s paintings. Launched on 4 February 2016 in London at Dulwich Picture Gallery, the exhibition has now arrived in Norway and will last until 11 September 2016.
